There are many people and groups that call themselves “vampire” but these are merely blood drinkers or “energy” drinkers.

From the Dayside We view blood drinkers as self-deluded at best and mentally unbalanced at worst. Crime is commonly associated with such cannibalistic practices and is therefore rejected by Us since crime is a confession of personal weakness.

From the Nightside We view “energy” drinkers as incomplete. True Nightside Vampirism requires the completion of the Lifeforce Circuit with the Advanced Members of the Temple Family. Anything less is meaningless and ephemeral in its value.

We are unique.

Ours is the only true Vampire religion in the world, and the Temple of the Vampire remains the only authorized public access to Our religion. www.vampiretemple.com is the only authorized Temple internet connection.

We do not recognize any other person or organization claiming to be Vampire.

My first introduction to Satanism happened when I saw a documentary on the occult called The Occult Experience. The film featured clips from the 1960's movie about The Church of Satan called Satanis. This film finally gave me a non bias view on what real Satanism is and what The Church of Satan was and is all about. With the ever increasing popularity of the internet I was able to explore Satanism even more when I learned that The Church of Satan had a website. I was now able to communicate with them directly with just sending them a quick e-mail rather than sending letters though regular snail mail. The thing that impressed me most about The CoS was they didn't focus all their time and energy on how to perform spells and magic. They spent their time living a philosophy that dealt with life in the here and now and that was something that I was able to relate to. While other so called Satanic groups wasted their time on how to do this or that Satanic ritual the real Satanists spent their time creating change in the real world

After reading all of Anton LaVey's books I realised that I was in fact a Satanist myself, but didn't realise it until I started studying it myself. Shortly after this realization I joined the CoS and have been a card carrying member ever since.

If you are wondering why I have chosen to not post my picture in this profile its because I like to keep my identity private. The controversial nature of being a Satanist causes some of us to be semi public when it comes to our beliefs and philosophies. My affiliation with the Church of Satan is something that I do not expect the everyday one to comprehend, therefore rather than get into endless and non beneficial debates with co-workers, family members, and associates, I have chosen to keep my identity hidden from those who would try and use it against me in some way.
