Upon leaving the place, I realized that I felt lighter than air, I felt like a million bucks, and that my mind was clear. It was like an inward spring cleaning.
That's what I feel like after meditating. You might want to try standard meditations that require you to focus on a single small object (like a candle flame) or a mantra while you block out all other thoughts.
Trust me, I don't mean this in any "spiritual" way. To me, meditation has always seemed to open up communication between my conscious and unconscious mind.
