I'm wondering if it's all rumours that LaVey was ever involved in this movie. He is said to have a) played the Devil b) been amongst the people on the boat in Mia's dream (which are blurred) or c) been a technical advisor.

So, if you could please explain to me which of this, if any, is true that would satisfy my curiosity.
