If Satanism is the highest form of human evolution...
what's next?

Sure, it's the top (and the view is lovely!), for the moment.

Can you think of anything?
Better yet, do you think there is such a thing?

(Humoristic and philosophical notes are all welcome)

You might find Robert Heinlein's future history, especially "Time Enough for Love," fascinating. He clearly has a pretty good idea of the next step for humanity, even if it is science fiction.

Evolution is a response to environment. So the question is, in the next 30,000 years or so, what’s the environment most likely to be? Space is a pretty good guess. Or human beings could migrate to other planets, and then it depends on what the environments there are. All in all, the Satanist will still exist, no matter what the environment and the species response to it, there will always be those on top and those on bottom. I for one wouldn't mind some horns, the tail seems like it would make it hard to sit.

When I saw "evolution", I immediately thought of a time warp back to the primitive... or maybe it was the tail comment.

For me, a Satanist is the symbol of the earth, and the earth is in perpetual evolution. To say that it's the Age Of Satan really shows that it's up to each individuals to explore and rise...

When the mass is speaking about an evolution, this mass is waiting for one which will be general, something for all, because the mass believe in this UNITY, very different for a satanist, who is his or her own labyrinth.

Hail Magic.

>>If Satanism is the highest form of human evolution...

I take it from the emoticon that this statement is to be taken as a bit tongue-in-cheek. So admittedly, I might be missing something here. But what exactly do you mean by this? That Satanists are biologically "more evolved" creatures than the rest of the human species? Or that the religion in and of itself is a pinnacle of human development? Or something else?

>>Better yet, do you think there is such a thing?

No, because evolution has no "highest forms". There is no "next" being that's "higher" than it's predecessor; that's not the way evolution works. Either a particular organism can survive and reproduce in its environment, or it can't. In any case, I don't see see much evolution coming from humans any time soon, as humans are pretty good at changing their environments before being changed by them.

Right!
I don't think humans have really "evolved" much at all, since the beginnings of civilization (or perhaps the first homo sapiens ) - only our technology has.
Humans still possess the same flaws and virtues, the same human nature. This, I think, is what makes Satanism so lasting: The fact that it is so accurately based upon human nature - carnal nature- and observation of it.
I honestly don't believe (read, "think") humans are going to evolve.
Our technology will improve. Our concepts and ideas will change along the way.
Empires and governments, Nations and orthodoxies will continue to come and go. There will always be war, hate, jealousy, violence, etc. because humans cannot (and should not!) escape their inherent nature anymore than a tiger can change it's stripes. (Cliche' - it's what's for dinner! )

So, that being said...
Let's all hold hands and pray that some day the world will become "one".

Id love to know exactly how life was formed, the big bang is pretty convincing but no hard evidence.

Hard evidence? What, do you want a picture? Universe expansion, Nucleosynthesis and Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation not enough for you?

Oh, we will be as one. Which brings me to my theory of future evolution.

There most probably won't be any. Because all the stupid monkies, the half-evolved apes that Darwin left out of his thesis. The ones that have clawed their way into authoritarian positions. They are angry that they were left out of the maturation of the Human Race, and will do all they can to stop further development.

These half breeds are around you, they're in government, they head schools, they are PC lobbyists, they run major fizzy drinks corporations.

And most importantly, They kidnapped Oppenheimer's blue prints and will blow up the world over the price of oil.

None of us will be here in 200 years time, and we will be as one. One great hole where mankind once stood.

I think we are done evolving. Humans adapt the enviroment to themselves.

Perhaps humans will one day mate with these so called "extra-terrestrials" who supposedly possess such a higher intelligence level than we do. If such a mating were possible (doubtful) the offspring could share traits with both species (even more doubtful). Of course, before attempting to have sex with one of these "extra-terrestrials," you would first have to find one that actually existed (extremely doubtful). Even if all this were somehow possible, you would then have to attempt to be sexually attracted to such a creature or use artificial means to complete the process.

If any of this were to ever really happen, I would suggest the making of an instrumental rock album entitled "Fucking the Alien."

PS. Anyone who took this seriously should seek professional help immediately.

I'm more concerned with my own EVILution (as Assabrah stated) than with others' evolution. If anything, I think people are gettin' stupider.

It's true humans adapt the environment to themselves, but there are still selection pressures occurring, just totally artificial ones. We are still evolving, but the direction of that evolution is one that is a response to the environments that we are creating. Right now, in the environment that exists, we are getting dumber because of the idiots that want to make the world safe for everyone, and so being intelligent is no longer a factor in successful reproduction. If the human race wants to get "better", than it needs to make society more ruthless, in other words, our future depends on instituting Lex Talionis. Human beings are not a finished product, and the best way to flush our future down the toilet is to believe that we are.

We will never stop evolving, unless we become firns, they never change. We are on average a lot taller than humans were a hundred years ago.

We are evolving for the worst. A genetics prof once ask: "Why do we have so many genetic diseases, and why do so many people have them now compared to a hundred years ago?"
She was expecting people to say the enviroment, more radiation, more poisons in the enviroment. Which of course people said. But the real answer is that these diseases always existed. Modern technology just allowed sick people to survive and breed. Someone with severe neurofibromanetosis would usually die from the tumours rapped around vital organs. Today we have micro surgery and specialists who know how to properly debulk masses of tumour and repairing all the little nerves, veins and muscle. Thus allowing them to survive and pass on their genes creating more sick people with this expensive illness.

A lot of people with good genes, do not want to breed because children are too much of a burden in today's society or they don't want to ruin their nice stumach. People who look good, don't like to stop getting attention for their good looks and having a baby is a lot of cases ruin's their good looks. So their is a lot of lost good genes there.
Also a lot of good looking people leave Christianity because of all the positive sexual attention. A lot of ugly, low self esteemed, or genetically inferior people turn to religion to to feel accepted. Of course these people turn to a religion where its best to be fruitful and multiply...

In conclusion, where genetics and evolution are concerned, we're fucked.

What you say is very true, but keep in mind, it takes on a scale of 10,000 to 30,000 years for a species to change even slightly. If things persist like this for that long, then yes, we will be fucked. But it's not over yet. But anyone that agrees with you should keep in mind, things like universal health care should be catagorically rejected, along with other forms of socialism. By helping everyone you destroy everyone.
