Something I am not very clear on is detail as per the statement made by the CoS regarding machines designed to be submissive or dominant. Would these machines be developed to the point of being able to think for themselves? And if so, what logical rationalization could exist for the enslavement of a sentient lifeform (a submissive sentient machine).

"Greetings from Trafalmadore."

"Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania was at peace with Eurasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia."

"Two things in life are certain: death and taxes."

As many as have ever been offered throughout history by slave owners, don't you think?

Are you asking a question or only making a statement?
