Once upon a time I had a companion who's thought process was exactly as you described. In her ignorance she couldn't fathom that masturbation was keeping me from cheating.

In most cases women lose the attention of their mates because they don't pay attention to their attractive qualities. It is a humorous
and quite abundant observation to watch women of the flock excuse their personal aesthetic and sexual appeal because they are married or in some other mutually limiting companion agreement. Men are no exception either.
They plump and frump up wondering why their companions stare at other mates and masturbate rather than being forced to indulge in something they have to for the sake of being faithful to their mate. The word faithful brings about some interesting logic, in that a husband must keep faith and not question. ( the flaw of marriage and the religion that coined it.)

I am also reminded of the "flesh faire" scene in the movie Artificial Intelligence. (which was amusing to my strange sense of humor with the wantonness and creative destruction of objects resembling humans. You have to know one of my professions to understand this side of my humor.) It consisted of angry peons destroying abandoned/discarded/runaway robots and androids out of envy because of their pending obsoleteness due to the advent of life-like robotics. In my opinion, despite whether it's artificial make up, intelligence is still intelligence, as well as aesthetic is still aesthetic. It took living intelligence to create artificial intelligence. This phenomenon of a "mechanical scare" has occurred numerous times throughout history with every new break through invention. The weaklings are always afraid to lose their niche (although small and pathetic or big but still pathetic – i.e. fossil fuel "sharks" ) to innovative technology.
In the end their loss is only due to their own incompetence, survival of the fittest.

Yet again another humorous curiosity arises on this subject:

What will christianity's stance be on acts of sodomy and gay/lesbian acts committed on an android? It would then be evident that "god" in all of his omnipotence overlooked this near future possibility.
I am sure that they will concoct some mumbo-jumbo bullshit from the bible to excuse the flaws of their manufactured deity.
However, the issue creating the uproar will be priceless, another "cosmic joy buzzer".

I've always found Lavey's concept about android companions very intriguing, I like the idea of having an artificial playmate I could program to my hearts desire.

The only fly in the ointment would be the politically correct labour government currently in power over here in blightly, the day android companions were invented the government would have an androids rights bill through parliament before the day had ended.

The Japanese are moving ahead i this area with their human-mimic robots.

It is only a matter of time.

You underestimate peoples ability to lie to themselves and anthropomorphise anything. I for one would prefer a robot that can wash my car, go grocery shopping and give me a hand job, and still have enough juice in the battery for a beating at the end of the day. It's a brave new world coming...
