I understand black is banned, blue is special, and orange is everyone else... but what is the specialness that is blue? Admin, CoS members, or some other definition?

Blue means CoS Member.

You will notice that reflected in the title, which will say CoS Member, CoS Witch/Warlock, CoS Priest/ess, CoS Magister, etc.

Red is forum Administration, i.e. Magister Ventrue and Magistra Nadramia, who also have little yellow Admin hats on their names.

Moderators can be identified by the little yellow Moderator hat on their name.

All Church of Satan members have a blued name. Administrators, meaning Magister Ventrue and Magistra Nadramia, are red. Used to use green for moderators, but you can recognize us anyway by the "M" flag beside the name.

Titles given to any CoS member reflect official recognized titles, such as Magister, Reverend, Warlock, etc. Titles given to nonmembers are based on post count and mean nothing. Titles given to banned idiots reflect a sense of humor on the part of moderators.
