I am sure many of you are aware of the origins of Friday the 13'th. For those of you who are not, research The Knights Templar. You may also want to research 'Switzerland' which is why I mentioned 'Time' in the subject title as the Swiss are known for their time pieces. This of course, has nothing to do with Friday the 13'th, however the Swiss have much to do with the Knights Templar. (View the flag of Switzerland). By the 14th century they had become known as Europes bankers (very powerful and wealthy)which is comical as they were also known under another name: "The 'poor' Knights Of Christ". This happens to be the 699th anniversary of the arrest of the Knights Templar. Other fun things to look into: The History of Robert The Bruce in connection with the Knights Templar. It's quite a big ordeal at this particular establishment. I also enjoy reading how superstitions have come about over the centuries in connection with Friday the 13'th which is not only interesting but also quite comical to say the least. _________________________ Satan LIVES! As an aside, Canada has a population of approximately 34 million, and every so often I see some non-CoS source being quoted as saying there are 30,000 Satanists worldwide! Coincidence??? It's Friday the 13th, and there's not one "Friday the 13th" movie on TV. Oh well, I guess I'll have to watch hockey to see some guy in a hockey mask. EDIT: Ah! For the "Friday the 13th" fans up here in Canada, Scream is showing a few of the movies tonight! The ONE sport I appreciate. I lived in Lake Placid, New York and was a left wing on our girls hockey team. We played many games in Canada. I'm feeling all nostalgic now. DickSteele CoS Warlock Registered: 07/06/04 Posts: 1411	They used to show those movies on a day like today, I only get basic cable, 2-13 which is enough, I don't remember them showing any scary movies for Halloween last year! I did get myself to see Texas Chainsaw massacre the beginning, hopefully my son will gow up to like horror movies, the other half of the family are wimps! Happy Friday the 13th everyone.
