Aside from that : good films, books, music, art and food; especially beautiful weather, be it violent or clear; razorsharp conversations; clothes, cityscapes, peace and quiet, clean hair and my mate. It's suprisingly easy to achieve sometimes.

Oh, wait, that's the answer for "What's best in life"...

Drawing and writing stories, good books (especially old ones) good food, good sex, the sight of things that are aesthetically pleasing (including, but not limited to Ancient Egyptian art, human skulls, dark-skinned women and cats) driving cars and motorcycles, working with computers... those things make me happy.

Stuff that makes me happy:

-Music (Led Zeppelin, APC/Tool, Shadows Fall, Marilyn Manson and Level Jumpers especially :-D)
-Making graphics and other art (my deviantart)
-Finding new software
-Finding new music
-Marb reds
-Driving in a freezing car at 3am on a busy, long stretch of highway

I get happy, when people are fighting and Im the one who just watches and wont get hurt....Sodom make happy, Metal...the fresh scent of wood (for example a new book or wooden furniture), playing "The Sims" (its funny to make your own world, hehe...),psychological tests and crossword puzzles, a Marlboro- bigpack!

~An entire day off (I work two jobs, so this can be quite a rarity)
~Receiving lotsa packages in the mail (everyday is XXXmas, says me!)
~A couple o' porterhouse steaks from Omaha Steaks (dot com), medium rare a'course,
~Books (currently, Dr. Albert Ellis' The Sensuous Person next will probably be I Was a Murder Junkie, a biography on G.G. Allin)
~Music (the CD player is chuck fulla Reverend Horton Heat at the moment *wiggles uncontrollably*)

What is it really to be "happy'? To be entertained? To feel contentment or satisfaction? To experience laughter?

For example I live in a drought area and it's raining right now and seeing it do so makes me feel 'happy'. However it's not so much happiness as relief from the tension of the heat and humidity as such.

Fulfilment for me more often comes through mastery and achievement of the tasks and goals I set for myself.

I guess for the idea of 'happiness' just too much relates to the idea of "peace and joy on earth" that the xian flock all too preaches to the common herd.
