Until the forum format makes it physically impossible for any other person other then a moderator to respond the CoS Questions Forum it will continue to happen on occasion.

Mistakes can and do occur.

Mistakes can be fixed.

Stupidity can't.

So while I agree making it impossible for others to reply to topics already started can resolve the issue, why should the board be designed to substitute stupidity?

It also serves as a filter.

Until that time how about posting a locked sticky within the CoS Question Area with a headline that says “ONLY MODERATORS ARE ALLOWED TO REPLY IN THIS AREA” or something to that effect. Maybe that will help

It's plainly stated in the forum title.

I once worked for a Marketing Research firm that double checked everything, because the data was so important. The point I am making is having a double check or the policy stated twice doesn't hurt to try to stop those occasional accidents. I only made the suggestion to try to elevate some of the annoyance that LKRice has with what she calls her "Pet Peeve."

Hail Satan!

Minds are like parachutes, they work best when open.

With very few absolute truths in the world know this; wherever you go, there you are.

Satanism is not clothing to be worn,
It is within you when you are born.

Perhaps, this post would serve its purpose better if it were "stickied" within the introduction section.

Accidents will happen. [Re: DevilsFoodCake] #202819

However, repetitions are remembered.

This is what happens to those who can't get this message through their thick skull.

Yes, you can get banned for ignoring this rule long enough. Take heed.

"The devil I'll bring you," answered Hagen. "I have enough to carry with my shield and breastplate; my helm is bright, the sword is in my hand, therefore I bring you naught."

It is just apart of it.

"Apart" means "seperate from", i.e. "it is seperate from it".

I think you meant; it is just a part of it.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Oops, thank you for pointing out my error! I did mean a part of it.

Barely. I think that Russian scientists have trained chickens to type.

Well, after reading through the shitstream of internet scrawlings it seems that way.

Literacy n : the quality or state of being literate.

Literate adj 1 a : characterized by education and culture. b : able to read and write 2 a versed in literature or creative writing b : having knowledge or competence.

While I will agree with you that there are alot of stupid people who know how to read it is an important commodity for the intelligent. It is not so much having the ability to read that makes you smart it is what you do with that ability that does. Alot of dumb asses read alot of stupid things or nothing at all and when given the opportunity to read something worth while, they turn away from it.

The people who post in the Church of Satan's Questions and Answers Forum without permission are the same people who cross the street when it says Don't walk". They are bound to get hit.

Get back to me on that after you've spent one month writing and testing a step-by-step, painstakingly prepared operating manual for a software system only to have your customer call within the first 20 minutes after shipping to ask a question that is answered on the second half of PAGE ONE.

RTFM.

This is a systemic problem, not a localized one.
