Sometimes, you have to remove yourself from stupidity. Okay, oft times.

If we could end these superstions, these visions of sugar plums and the like dancing in heads.... if we could all unite the vast intellect that resides in this world?

As for the seperate issue of pain. I agree that we must have all forms of pain, yes it remind us that we are alive and kicking and other then that its just like love and hate. You must have both to be a good judge of character and who you truly love. With pain it is a good way to tell pleasure from pain.

Every time I think of anything there seems to be an advantage as well...

I don’t know if the original poster of this thread intended it to be a survey on this very phenomenon. But I have noticed that most people want to use the “room” to banish things that are completely avoidable and will bother them only if they WANT to bother by them.

I see people select annoying actors, singers, music styles, etc… to be locked forever in the mythical room.
