I have a suspicion that the women who do spread their legs to get what they want -gladly, freely, with direct and purposeful intent- are happy as fuck. They achieve their goals and don't feel guilty about it. We tend to label this behaviour because the only cases we hear about are the tragic, insecure scandals. Sweet girl? I am assuming that you knew her personally (maybe you're her Mother)? And what pray tell, 'were her dreams'? She got out of the trailer park. Wonderful. What were her other goals? Were her dreams to have a son who ended up dead as a result of her poor parenting skills? If so, she accomplished that dream. I don't feel sorry for her in the slightest. In fact, I think her death MAY and I do mean a big MAY have saved her little girls life. Time will tell. Good riddance.

Indeed. Monroe was smarter than the average bear (she put on a good act) at making others 'believe' she was dumb. Anna was just dumb. Comparing Nicole to Monroe is like comparing apples to oranges.
Monroe is an American icon who even in her death is still thought of to this day.
I wonder how many people will visit the grave site of Anna Nicole 30 years later? Yeah. Nobody.

I find it interesting that many people are making the assumption that I equalized Anna Nicole with Monroe. I didn't. However love her or loath her Smith has left her mark.
I also find it interesting that America currently has a female star more intelligent and successful than Monroe and Smith combined in Madonna. My point; if we are comparing someone with Monroe lets at least use someone with a fighting chance.

My point is that NO ONE knows if she was happy or not. You could be correct; or, her death could have been the result of a single instant of poor judgment. People focus so much on her “tragic” death, and it’s so sensationalized on television, but who the heck can really say how she felt? She could have been the happiest person on earth, even if she did commit suicide. The idea that people only kill themselves because they are depressed is a misconception. That "something wrong" might have nothing to do with sadness. For example, if you win a few millions dollars playing the Lottery, they don’t give you all of your winnings at once. Care to guess why?

While I enjoy a great deal of Madonna's music, this is an apples to oranges situation.
Madonna is a whackaloon nut job who simply keeps 'searching' for religion, for something ANYTHING to fit into. Monroe on the other hand KNEW who she was. I wouldn't lay flowers on Nicole or Madonna's grave but I would lay a rose on Miss Monroes grave.

I saw no animosity in Gypsy's post. I might add that your comments are quite amusing seeing that they come from a guy who made an entire thread about the great accomplishments of the late Anna Nicole Smith. I found that laughable.
Maybe you need to get a new hero instead of paying respects to a drug addicted lunatic who yes, had NO BUSINESS having children? (Speaking of Anna here).
