I will start this by saying when I first got married my wife was unwilling to change her name and I had no problem with changing mine instead. I did so and a few years after I joined the CoS. Well cut to the chase we have been having some problems and because of them we might end up getting a divorce because of how much we have changed (we were to young to get married).

I understand if we separate I would want to change my name back because I would feel wrong keeping it and down the road someone wanting to marry me and take that name. It is a respect issue to me. If we do leave each other when my name gets changed back to the original or what I choose will the CoS send me a new membership card?
