As Magister Nemo said, it opens many doors. I originally became a member because (other than being a Satanist) I liked what Dr. LaVey had to say and for voicing how I felt I figured he deserved to be paid for his efforts. I remember a friend of my brother's had said to me -"what's this you paid $100.00 for some card?" It wasn't just "some card", besides special invitations and the like there were some very interesting "coincidences" that started to happen around and after that time! Membership did allow me to have a really swell time in LA last year also!

As you know, the $200 was not for the card. It was for something much more. That will be the subject of an upcoming essay.
