I've something going on here...

I've noticed that when I PM any one he/she is automatically added to my buddy list, How do I remove unwanted individuals from my buddy list?

And

I've also noticed that users here uses emotions that are not on my list, meaning after the board's update a lot of emotions were gone! So where are the old good emotions go?

One last thing, I personally try to abide by the board's rules the best I could so I thought about adding this question too. Sometimes the threads drift into somewhat personal chatting, is that allowed or frowned upon?

I didn't even know we had a "buddy list." Whatever it is, I've never used it, but if you explain where you found this I'll screw around with it and figure out how to make it work right.

Meaningless chit-chat is largely discouraged on the forum. Posts should have relevant content - but that doesn't mean topics may not evolve into personal discussions or what have you so long as each individual post actually has content. The only exception is possibly the humor forum, I pretty much allow that forum to be a free for all (obviously major rule violations are dealt with).

When you send a PM, look the "Recipient's" form; there is an (Add) button Right next to it there's the 'buddy list'

Just sent out a test PM, the recipients were not automatically added to the buddy list. I manually added someone, and they were added, however I have not found a way to delete them from this list if I wanted to do so. I have not found any setting on preferences that would affect this.

You are certain that you did not accidentally add these people manually?

Regardless, you should be able to delete people and I'll see if someone can fix that.

When you go to "View UBB Buddies", there is a "remove entry" button located to the right of the "send private message" button. Click it. And just like that...

...they're gone.

Still wondering why he'd have his recipients automatically added to his buddy list, I've not had that problem.

Go to "options".

Go to "view UBB buddies".

Go to "remove entry".

Go away.
