My question is what must be done to safe guard the one using this in a ritual? If anything

Let's begin with two aspects: 1- Whomever you are dealing this to needs to be truly deserving.

2- No guilty feelings on your part. Whatever happens, happens.

Lastly, think of the Enochian Words as vibrational tones. The example of the opera singer hitting a high note and shattering a glass comes to mind. Well, imagine if not only the glass but the windows, mirrors etc. were to also shatter. Focus is important.
