As Satanists, we sometimes refer to ourselves as creatures of the night. One of the reasons is our sense of fun and joy in reveling in our carnal natures. Another reality is that our strength comes from aspects of ourselves hidden from the rest of the world. Regardless of actual sleep style, a Satanist is a nocturnal creature.

As we reach this time of Winter Solstice, we pause, with the sun. Our evening activities have increased. Our magical workings have been many and ideas have been incubating in our satanic minds. Now is the time for the tide to change; and, for our nocturnal workings to begin to see the light of day.

If you and your family celebrate Christmas, realizing that the true meaning of this time of year is the celebration of yourself, your loved ones and the pleasures of the flesh, I wish you a Merry Christmas. If your tradition harkens back to a mythical time of slavery, and, you use this season to celebrate the freedom with which your ego is allowed to express itself, I wish you a Happy Hanukkah. If you choose not to acknowledge this time as any more important than the others, because you live each day as if it were your last, sucking the very marrow from the bones of pleasure, carry on. Regardless of what name you put on this auspicious season, may your Nocturnal workings bring fruit and prosperity to your days. May your days increase!

There is indeed much to celebrate tonight. The Christmas bonus from the company was larger this year, I got a raise and we seem to have secured a new important client for next year.

So I think a bit of good food, a Belgian beer and a good book will be a nice way to unwind before facing the dreaded shopping for Christmas dinner.

I think she must have nice tasting piss actually, we all keep going back for more. But at her age (she's almost dead) I think she's producing strange lumpy bits, either that or we need to change the tea bags we're using.
