The first book I read by Anton LaVey was The Devil's Notebook, in which I read How to become a Werewolf. Now having the knowledge to put this work into context, I found it very interesting and started looking up information on werewolves and the CoS.

What I came up with amounted to the, as I understand it defunct, organization started by the couple Schreck, the Werewolf Order (I assume every possible reference to Mrs. Schreck as a female canine has already been made.)

So my question is: Are there any communities within, or on good terms with, the CoS, or any further readings, that directly discuss satanic lycanthropy?

Why join a lycanthrope community when you can be a lone wolf?

I don't remember that chapter having anything to do with others.

Several of our members have been involved in creating lycanthrope, or werewolf, rituals, and have used such imagery in their creative works. Your option here is to continue to explore the links on ChurchofSatan.com and whatever our members make available to the public here on LttD and elsewhere.

Radio Werewolf/Werewolf Order were terms the Schrecks used in conjunction with their interests in National Socialism and as such did not have any real relevance to lycanthropy.

That´s what I thought, I always understood it was some kind of NS organisation that used germanic/scandinavian heathen aesthetics in their rituals.

You can approach the subject matter from (at least) two different angles. One is that of "animal transformations" of so-called shamanistic shapeshifting, which requires extensive knowledge, usually in the presence of one or more practicing shamans, lots of private space and at least several years on your hands in order to successfuly ritualise the wolf shape.

The other is ritualisation inside the framework of BDSM "animal play" (which must NOT be confused with bestiality) - and this latter one seems to be closest related to Doctor's orders (as mentioned in the OP). The common varieties of BDSM are such things as puppy play, pony play, etc., but there is a darker side of the moon, so to speak, even though this is not considered kosher among the modern SSC/RACK people, and that is where you will find high-end, old school S&M trickery like werewolf rape-play and even variations on the classical witch sabbath. However, this should be approached with great caution, as you can easily lose your grip of reality alltogether - and there are some really unsavoury characters operating in that field who will not think twice about pushing you over the edge of no return.

Perhaps Adam Parfrey´s short essay on lycanthropy may be a good starting point for beginners. It´s called "Latter-Day Lycanthropy: Battling for the Feral Soul of Man" and it appears on the first volume of Apocalypse Culture.

A book I'll have to pick up, Apocalypse Culture. I've been researching and exploring werewolves and werewolf rituals since forever. Along with the book I saw in The Satanic Witch's bibliography, Man into Wolf.

Montague Summers treatment of werewolves is interesting, but you won't find much in it about rituals (aside from a few scant mentions of things he knew that were "too blasphemous" to know, much less write down).
