I am just wondering who out there may from the United Kingdom? I`ll be honest in saying that I have never come across a Satanist from the UK and I have met a lot of people. I am also interested in the strength of Satanism in the UK as we are a rather multi cultural society these days with so many different belief systems. Any thoughts?

There are plenty of Satanists in the UK.

You will be hard-pushed to find them, as with most Satanists world-wide.

You may have come across many Satanists without knowing it, as not all of them have a Baphomet tattooed on their foreheads.

OK so you mis-read my post. Firstly, I know I would find it difficult to find a Satanist and also I do know that Satanists do not have a tattoo to show themselves as Satanists. I was merely saying I have never met anyone in my magic or social circle.
I am interested however how Satanism has taken hold in the UK, it would be interesting to compare and contrast the impact Satanism has made upon the different nations.

And I repeat, you may have met Satanists and not know it. There are many reasons for a Satanist not to identify himself as such, even to other alleged Satanists.

Satanism makes an impact everywhere in the world... and a great part of this is accomplished by keeping a low profile.

If you go to the CoS website, you will find a section full of links. These are populated by many productive Satanists worldwide. In fact, there is at least one message board administrated by a Satanist from the UK.

Up to this point, I have only pressed flesh with one American Satanist. That is not an odd predicament to be in.

Unless of course, you, I, and family take a trip to Atlantic City to blow our fortunes on some poker tables.

I have a good comeback; but, it is uncharacteristically off-color.

Another thing to think about is this: is there any particular reason why you suspect a Satanist might seek out your particular "magic" or social circles? Satanism isn't ecumenical, and you hardly ever find Satanists taking an active interest in the occult scene. Plus, many (though certainly not all) Satanists are socially more on the introverted side too.

Since there are a little over sixty million people from the United Kingdom, I'll not name them all - though it's possible to find a lot of them by looking via some resource such as the online BT phonebook.

Satanism is strong wherever it is.

Funny. Almost all of my friends would say exactly the same thing. (Except maybe for the magic part -- it's more of a science nerd crowd.) And ALL of them would be wrong.
