There are things that on the surface are not too obvious about magic that have a lot of ground in science. Everything described in TSB is firmly grounded in science and psychology. For some it works quite well, for others we need other avenues to achieve the same results. At the end of the day it does work. Don't discount something that you don't understand or don't agree with. No one said practicing magic was required to be a Satanist either.

If it took you three days to read less than a hundred pages, you would probably just give up on your search for "intelligent life".

Anyway, I'll give you little hint: Satanists don't believe in magic.

I did not really read for 3 days straight and the reason I have not come across magic before is that I skipped most chapters / articles because the philosophical ideas were more important to me.

The incoherent nature of this text is due to the fact that English is my third language and that I was a little intoxicated at around 6AM.



I realize that by the very nature of your philosophy you will not give a deal whether or not I understand. However, if you happen to feel like discussing this matter I would happily read through any texts you give me about magic.

I want you to know that I am truly sorry for how I expressed my feelings in this original post. I respected this community a lot and I thought I had found a lot of people just like me. When I then (possibly mis-)understood the concept of magic I was heavily disappointed and extremely angry.

When I first learned of the "magical" concepts within Satanism (about six or so years ago), I too was skeptical, simply by my sheer misunderstanding of what it was, and what it was not.

I did not, however, post a drunken rant of insults laced (or, more accurately, splattered) with profanity.

It's one thing to misunderstand magic, it's an entirely different thing to be an asshole.

Rule number three comes to mind (amongst other things!).
