wich enochian key should I use, that would work best, and what is the difference between different enochian keys??? when you recite them, should you recite in english or in enochian? Tell you what. I'll help you out with that if you'll help me out with a problem of my own. You see, I just discovered a great big box of hand tools in my basement and I've decided I want to become good at using them. There are some that are labeled "screwdriver" (even though they have different end bits), a big heavy one is labeled "hammer", and there's one strange contraption named "adjustable wrench" which has a little swirly thing in it. So... which one should I use? And after I've picked one, should I turn it clockwise or counterclockwise? Oh, and I almost forgot to mention -- also in the box was a book, an introduction to hand tools and their uses, by a guy named Bandsaw Sander LeVel, or something like that. But I haven't the slightest idea what that one's for. So. Can you help me out? -Chess

Oww okayyy, that's the way people like to play around here... laugh at someone's questions instead of helping them There are no stupid questions, a question comes from an individual who is ready to learn and asks people who already got the knowledge... But the people with the knowledge tend to point fingers and laugh, ha ha fucking ha It's finee peepz, I'll find it on my own.. and if I don't find my answers, I'll still post my questions, wheter you like it or not

Respect is earned. Your account balance is currently negative. and people who think they know better or probably DO know better, don't forget you also where beginners in Greater Magic, so judge the man in the mirror and don't be talking crap here please Was this remark aimed at Roho or me? For your sake I hope the latter as Roho seams to be held in very high regard among most of us here. On a sidenote: I am a beginner now. Does that stop me from learning? No, it does not! It spurs me on. It inspires me to seek answers within myself as well as inside the Satanic bible. So my advice is once again: Work on your lesser magic first, that way you might actually be able to find a teacher someday when you really need it...

I am going to say his one time. After this, you will not see my name in any thread of this nature. In the early history of The Church of Satan, many different types of people found their way to the front door of the Black House. Those looking for a handout were thrown out on their ear. If they persisted, they were…in their own mind…ill used…and then thrown out on their ear. We are not about charity. We were all beginners. As long as someone is willing to put in their time reading, studying and learning, we are willing to assist. That was Dr. LaVey’s way. We know our kind, and generally have no problem pointing in the right direction. So…from the beginning of our history, until today…beggars are given the bum’s rush. Satanists who have shown they are willing to do their own work are given direction. That is all.

I'm not trying to begg for information, or I don't want you to spoon-feed me with information. I just THAUGHT that this forum was for asking questions... in your last quote you more or less stated that I should do my OWN homework, and look the information up on my OWN, and thennnn if I still got problems, come to ask help.. I appreciate it, but why didn't you tell me this in the first place, instead of laughing at me??? I am persisted to learn how to use higher magic!!!! and I don't care what other people think/feel when I am asking questions!!! Magic is something I wanted since the beginning of my life, I am searching after this all my life, and now I finally found it!!! And I am ready and eager to use it, that's why I ask so many questions Numitra...

kay maybe I was a lil' bit lazy, lil bit? If you'd spent half the time you've spent asking for answers on looking for them, you'd be the wiser and still have free time on your hands. but that doesn't give people the right to laugh at someone.... Yes, it does. Intentional ignorance and intellectual laziness are subject to ridicule here. We're Satanists, not Sunday School teachers. I really thaught you could ask info from other members.... Member? If you are a member of the Church of Satan please have your title on the board upgraded through the proper channels. Membership may not grant you a free pass, but it certainly evokes a level of patience, at least initially. damnnn I treat everybody with respect.. Do you really believe that? Do you really think it demonstrates respect to somebody when you essentially want the benefit of their learning and studying--their work and commitment, while you sit back and do nothing on your own? I do not consider that respect. It is like the mugger claiming to respect the lady who's purse he just stole. Anywayz, gonna find it out on myself, if I can't get any further, I'll let you know..... This may be a case where we'll let you know. Y~

For crap's sake...get a library card! Well, I have to agree at 100% here. There is something that I do not understand, won't understand, and anyway do not want to understand at all : becoming a magician or whatever thanks to the Internet. Satanism is into life ( goddamnit ). A book leading to another book, which will help you to make a very useful link with another one, and so on. What a wonderful quest it is to dig everywhere to find your answers, through different cultures and symbolisms.. But what, today it is replaced by "a link leading to another link" (internet) .. "Hellooo, here is my brain, here is the book I have found ! Please can you check both for me, and tell me how I will react with my own intellect in order to lead myself ?". "to each his own" does not work for everything : there are some roots, some rules and a giant bedrock, and this is where one is learning. There is no Greater Magic without self experience, no one will open the gate for you. Fall, bite the dust, start again and take notes. "Hello, how do I do ?" >> try until you find your own "light". There hasn't been "disrespect" here Numitra, only people who cannot "travel" into your brain and lead you through your way to understand and react. Dig and find your dawn.

Agreed.
Ease of communication has opened the gates for laziness to flourish. There isn't anything wrong with asking a question you truly cannot find the answer for yourself, but even then, don't EXPECT an answer.
No one here owes anyone else anything. It is not a hold-hands community where one is expected to help another. Courtesy is demanded, but hostility will be returned to those who deserve it.
I am indifferent regarding the individual at hand, but the point is one that cannot be missed. Put in your own groundwork. Something that is not earned can have NO value, and is artificial, at best. This applies to knowledge as well.
The books are there, the information presented, right before our eyes. One needs only to open them to see the path before them. Sometimes it can be difficult to see, but focus long enough, and it will become clear.

I thank you for your comments, and I agree with you people. I think I was to eager to ear testimonies, and guidelines, whereas now I understood that you wanted me to look for my own path I apologies, I didn't mean to come over as a lazy person, I just wanted it a lil' bit easyer, because I thaught I could start at a higher level, from the information I got from you guys.. I'll try it for my own, I'll fall, I'll try again and again and again... This night I will do my first ritual.. I know I got the passion, I know I got the will.. I would die for my goal to come true, so I am sure the ritual will succeed eventually... Anyway, thank you all, you sarcastic, self-path-searching satanists

Numitra, I don't use Enochian Magic for the same reason I don't play "Russian Roulette" : if one does not put in the appropriate amount of diligent, disciplined study one might well mistake the side of their skull for a deer! Whatever you do, Numitra, promise me that you will stay away from "#10". BTW, why do want to use such a powerful ritual, anyway? Since you are asking somewhat "loaded" questions (please excuse pun), would you please enlighten the readers of this Forum why you need to use such a powerful ritual in the first place. Thank you. Numitra, What did they to do you, to make you hate them so much?
Do they even realize what they did?
And if you honestly hate them so bad, then why would you continue to give them control over your thoughts and emotions?

GCaesarWhiskers I honestly know what you mean, I have thaught about forgiving them, but I hate them for so many years now, it's because of hating them, that I am the person who I am now... without hate, I would never have became the strong, paranoiac, revengefull person I am now.. people wouldn't respect me, now they do.. I honestly try to forget them (I'll never forgive them) but it's stronger then myself...

Paranoia is a weakness, so is seeking revenge above all else.
The quote you drew from the satanic bible is something very profound, and while perhaps not intentional its the way I came to understand magic the most.
"you should not care if your enemy lives or dies".
Emphasis mine

If you feel you have to be harmful and dangerous to be respected, then I totally disagree with you. We're not living in the Middle Age anymore, do we? żAre you able to enjoy your life and yourself feeling that way? Your thirst for revenge will enslave you. You should look after more wisdom and knowledge. Thus, you will be able to surpass your enemies wisely and not trying to use magic (something you don't know anything about yet) desperately to see if it works. Magic is a tool to be used in emotional equilibrium. There was a thread some days ago "Is emotion a strength or a weakness?". Suggest you read it as well before using anything you couldn't make work. To answer the question, here it is: http://www.churchofsatan.com/Pages/EnochianGuide.htmlI am being gracious because when I didn't understand some of the stuff early on I was not sent away with insults, my questions were answered and was told to try harder to find them myself. I'll extend that same courtesy until someone proves they are just lazy. Do yourself a favor and read the Satanic Bible and the entire CoS website and the PDF of the The Satanism FAQ. If there are any more questions I am sure the clergy would be happy to help you if it is a question that obviously hasn't been answered or addressed through the official literature or some other reliable source.

I really thaught you could ask info from other members.... damnnn I treat everybody with respect..
"It is the mistake of expecting people to give you the same consideration, courtesy and respect that you naturally give them. They won’t.
