Cool! I see a chemistry set in my future. Like I said, never too late not to grow up. Thank you for the links, and adding to my bookmarks.

I enjoyed the Ellen links, but I couldn't open the other ones.=/

Real neat stuff.

While we're at it, let me share with all of you one of the most amazing and beautiful works I've seen in a while-

"5000 years after the invention of the wheel, we have a new wheel"

I am amazed. At first glance I thought it was just an art project. The fact that the entire 'animal' is free of electronics is astounding. The way it walked, so fluidly, was beautiful.

Truly Satanic.

Their personalities sure seem to be on opposite ends of the clock, though. Thanks for the links!

The pneumatic wind creature was amazing. For some reason I can see a swarm of those things on Mars in the future.

There's Moon Blob for sale on their website!

Anyone who wants a fun lesson in polymers should have plenty of this stuff lying around.

I sat down with the family tonight and we did the cornstarch quicksand experiment-awesome stuff.
I used 3 box's of cornstarch in a 1 QT? container. Just the right amount.
Hours of fun for the whole family- under $4.00!
Try it!

I came across this today and it reminded me of this thread:

I wish my teachers made science that fun.
