That was cool. I would never be able to keep a straight face doing something like that.

Ha! That was awesome. And in Grand Central of all places. I wish I could have been there, just to experience the weirdness of stepping into what would feel like an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Amazing how they got a round of applause for ceasing their activities. If they could make it permanent, now there is something to applaud.

I guess Dr. LaVey was right about doing less for success.

Actually, sometimes the lines at Grand Central DO feel like that.

That was pretty neat, actually. Some of them froze in positions that quite likely would have been very difficult to maintain for 5 minutes.

That whole youtube channel is very entertaining. If they ever organize something near my home, i'm definitely volunteering.

I was wondering how it would affect the scene if the girl eating something- looked like a yoghurt or ice cream- if her food had melted and fell off the spoon.

If someone really was frozen in time, you would think their watch would stop, mp3 players cease to function, cell phones not go off, and food not melt. It would be interesting to see how she reacted if it was ice cream and it did melt and she was wearing open toe sandals at the time.

While skimming youtube the other day I happened upon this and now I know where it came from.

Its strange that the people who haven't froze immediately start filming it with cameraphones watching the US version this wasn't evident, I am not sure quite why.

http://improveverywhere.com/ is where the idea came from with lots of other videos.
