I agree, and I have placed my vote, the site only accepts votes from people who claim they are from USA.
And I would assume you need a valid postcode (not hard to find one) but I haven't tried entering an invalid one.

The site accepted a Norwegian zip code without complications.
Of course, if you have genuine one...
