If a topic title contains quotes, usually the second " is displayed as "e when it's shown on the main forum list.

Example:

Real Name: "Speak of the Devil"

Displayed on the forum list as: "Speak of the Devil"e

My guess is that this is because the forum software cuts off the post title preview after x characters, and if that happens to be in the middle of an HTML special character, then you'll get only part of the code instead of the translated character. And quotation marks are the most common special character (represented in HTML as " ) so it's the one most commonly split this way.

Low-priority bug, but definitely a bug -- probably in the forum software package underlying LttD.
