I cannot remember which forum, but someone posted a link to an IQ test.

However, when I clicked on this link (the page had little Einstein icons) it has installed itslef on my pc - along with a load of porn - which every so often automatically takes me to that site now.

I have tried deleting it from my pc and also deleting cookies and clearing history. But it is somehow linked to LttD and everytime I sign on to LttD it re-installs itself into the "tools" menu at the top of my page.

Also, although the site will either be this IQ test or porn - it will have LttD as the address in the bar.

Anyone know anything?

erm.. thanks for the reply. But I was not born of the computer generation. I have no idea about all that shit.

Anti-spyware software really is as essential as virus checkers and firewalls these days. I've got Spybot on my machine and found it very useful. Have a look here.

For the future, not running IE (if that's what you're running) helps a lot. Moz/Firefox has no qualms with these forums, but I have had problems doing Satanism Today's chatroom with it, although beyond that no problems with spy/adware, or popups at all.

Yep, you've picked up some spyware. Free utilities like Ad-Aware or Spybot: Search and Destroy do a fair job of cleaning off most of these vermin. It has been suggested, however, that these programs clean out the opposition while installing their own snoop-bots. Far and away the best utility is Pest Patrol. It's not free, but it does an outstanding job. Running it every few days will eradicate the sort of shit that sticks to your cyber-shoes. Especially if you frequent "certain areas" of webtown. I also reccomend the CyberScrub utility. It cleans system traces and erases files beyond hardware recovery. Do a search, these utilites are easy to find.
