I noticed that "Political Issues" was listed in my "Members Only" section -- but I also noticed posts from non-members were made there today. Is there a change coming, or a bug, or what?

I have also seen this. I thought it was moved until I saw non-Members could still post there. But I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. If they had access to the rest of the Members Only section, it would be messageboard madness by now!

It just appears on top of the "How To Join" section for everyone who can't get access to the members only forums.

It is apparently not completely fixed yet. Only reason why I'm not fond of this move is because now I won't be able to read Colonel Akula's posts anymore. An avenue of pleasure in my life has been terminated.

Not necessarily. Its his choice where he places the posts. If he wants a bigger audience then the Essay forum is just as appropriate a place to post them.

If I'm not mistaken, Listheret, you now have access to the Members forums. In case Colonel Akula does keep them in the Members section, you should have access to them at any rate.

"The devil I'll bring you," answered Hagen. "I have enough to carry with my shield and breastplate; my helm is bright, the sword is in my hand, therefore I bring you naught."

I too have noticed a move of the "Political Issues" section. I had access to it yesterday and today I do not.
I was wondering why it was moved.

What a "coincidence"! Welcome to the Members Only section. Now you have more when you thought you had less.

If the politics section has in fact "gone South", I think it's a good move. Like other forums that have migrated downward it will probably show an increase in general quality. It will also prevent the misperception of disputes among members in a public forum. Without differing opinions there could be no "politics" to discuss, of course. But not everyone can tell the difference between a lively parlor discussion and genuine antagonism.

I don't think the forum will stagnate in its new home since the basement's more populous than ever.

Did you do this Leviathan?

I would like to thank Reverend Ventrue & the CoS for the second chance. Major patience they have had with my jazz along the years. Thank You!

I guess I'll just have to remain somewhat Satanically-apolitical for a while until my CoS membership is re-approved. Have fun!

Quality.

Yeah, that's what happens in the CoS-Only forums. Quality.

Although your posts were, at times, a little "spicy", they were still an interesting read.
You did have a knack for heating up a discussion.
Welcome aboard.

May I dare to suggest that not all non-members are total idiots?

You can suggest away, considering CaesarsGhost didn't suggest they were. But those that are would very quickly have shit all over our privileged sand box.

I appreciated your reply, it's a site I hadn't known and wished I did. My BA in Poli-Sci can now get a Satanic update thanks to your wisdom.

The basement should really be broken up into sections. The long list of forums is starting to make my eyes cross.
