Just an idea.

How about a forum dedicated to the discussion of Cryptids?
There is already a SIG dedicated to this, keeping track of updates, discoveries and otherwise compiling information on numerous Cryptids. Other ongoing efforts are also in the works regarding this.

Perhaps a forum in the members area might encourage others with an interest in the field to discuss theories, ideas and, eventually join the Crypto SIG , thus becoming part of the more active aspects being covered there now.

May I respectfully suggest that this would be superfluous.

We have been working very hard in the Cryptozoology SIG. A lot of information, theories, sightings. My friend and his dog met a Big Cat and had the scars to prove it.

SIGs are specialised. If it's one of your enthusiasms, we are delighted to welcome you. We'll post the occasional news here in an attempt to entice you to our SIG.
