Hi everyone. I´m sorry to make my introduction here but I wasn´t able to find the introduction forum either because i´m foolish or it doesn´t actually exist.
I was raised in a cristian environment thought my parents were atheists. Since a young age I started to question my religion and I realized that many things didn´t fit. I became an atheist and discarded all my cristian beliefs. One day while surfing the net, I discovered this religion called Satanism. Soon, I saw that it wasn´t a bloodthirsty religion plagued with mythical demons and spiritual subrealistic beings. I was facinated by Anton LaVey´s books and I quickly turned towards Satanism. Of course i´m still a "noob" and got a lot to learn. I apologize for my english, I know it´s pretty poor.
I´m thrilled to have joined this community and eager to start contributing.
Salutations

Your avatar shows a hand with blood on the palm.

What is that supposed to mean?

Actually, it doesn´t mean anything. Why? Should it? I just like the sharp contrast of red with white and I consider it an interesting picture, not that I like blood, of course.

The word "Avatar" in English comes from an old Hindu belief regarding gods inhabiting the bodies of mortals, to interact with humanity. Thus, an avatar is a means by which someone represents themselves with a chosen image in a situation where one would may otherwise be "faceless".

Hence, you'll find that most people here will choose an avatar that they feel represents them, or an aspect of their personality, etc.

I imagine this is why the good Magister asked about yours, as it seems an odd image to want to convey (as that kind of imagery is often used by disaffected youths wishing to represent their commonly self-inflicted pain in some fashion).
