The problem, as I see it, is that first of all the church tried to found a faith upon fears and faith in the unknown, all backed by a collection of 66 books that contradict each other. It was a silly venture right from the beginning, and it has produced a lot of confusion in its subjects.
'66 Books' you say? I was unaware. I am now intrigued...
