Rex Church: the Ragnarok Engine A seminar in Black Magickal Technology from the Church of Satan’s Magister Rex Diabolus Church. Come hear about the dark side of Tesla tech with the world’s foremost practitioner.
Panel: EsoTech Panelists: Rex Church
“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” The line between magick and technology has always been blurred. No less a luminary than Sir Isaac Newton was an accomplished alchemist. Whether it be the far out biopsychology of Wilhelm Reich, the bad physics of the Chaos Magickians, or Nikolai Tesla’s secrets man was not meant to know, renegade science and magick seem to go hand in hand more than ever. As science pushes the boundaries of what man can accomplish, it also expands our notions of what is possible. Esozone’s panel of mad scientists will discuss the possibilities of FutureTech- for better or for worse.
http://220.127.116.11/search?q=cache:bFs...p;client=safari No stranger to stirring up controversy, the Church of Satan’s Reverend Jack Malebranche is back at it again. This time he turns in a Nietzschean exploration of power, laying bare the egoic pretensions of the contemporary American middle class. With all the fury of a Spartan warrior, Rev. Malebranche evokes the best qualities of Anton LaVey’s hilarious honesty and a bare knuckle street brawl. Sure to be an instant classic.
http://www.jackmalebranche.com/blog/?p=96 "I like the idea of being able to put out something interesting in a weird format that may only sell 50 or 100 copies, but which will stand over time as part of my overall body of work. For instance, this fall I will be speaking at EsoZone on a weird topic, and I plan to release a sort of ‘zine of artwork mixed with my lecture notes. Just because I think it’s a cool idea." http://www.jackmalebranche.com/hub/ Headlessgod.com August 20th, 2008 For several weeks I have been compiling my notes on Yukio Mishima in blog form. I will continue to transcribe my favorite Mishima quotes, upload Mishima-related photos, and post relevant articles and links for some time to come. If you’re interested in Mishima, please bookmark this site. http://www.jackmalebranche.com/mishima/
(According to an 8/28/8 update at the EsoZone site: "The bad news: Jack Malebranche won’t be at Esozone this year after all." So we'll see what happens as his name is still up as a panelist and workshop lecturer a month later.)
And to clarify, one of the panelists goes by the name of Nemo which is not the C/S Magister but an artist that goes by that name. Just as an FYI, his site is here http://r6xx.com/news/?p=38
Magister Diabolus Rex will appear at esoZone on a panel on occult art on August 12th. EsoZone is an occult festival that will take place from August 10th - 12th in Portland, OR at the Someday Lounge.
Arte, Magick and Musick Aleister Crowley claimed that “all art is magick, all magick is art,” though this seems like a gross exaggeration. Art is magick only when it has intention—what John Harrigan has called “weaponised art.” What separates paintings of dogs playing poker from the cut-ups of Brion Gysin, the evocative art of Austin Osman Spare or the nightmarescapes of Salvador Dali? What is the role of performance, music and dramatics in art? How can art be used to bring about change in conformity with will? Our panel will discuss these and other topics and explore the overlapping and diverse terrain of magick, musick and arte.
------------------- I was playing with the idea of attending this, taking notes at the lectures, posting the highlights here and presenting Magister Church with my Schwarze Sonne findings. Anyone having attended one of these, can you fill us in on past exceptional themes & who plans on being there in a couple weeks?
Long time Church of Satan initiate, Rex Church is a highly accomplished futurist / surrealist painter, Lovecraft scholar, and walking library of esoteric technology. For years Rex has been designing and crafting the Ragnarok Engine, a 40,000 pound demon conjuring forge which integrates such disciplines as Tesla technology, black radionics, and ruin value. Most definitely a highlight of last year’s Esozone, Rex is back for a seminar on the Ragnarok Engine. Learn everything you always wanted to know about bringing about the apocalypse but were far too terrified to ask from one of the foremost practitioners in the field. http://www.diabolusrex.com/

Out of respect of Magister Church’s wishes, I’ll only be posting highlighted quotes from the hour lecture although its highly probable that Esozone will post the complete presentation here, just as they’ve shared surfaced footage already: http://www.alterati.com/blog/?p=2100
"See with your mind’s eye my demonic forge, The Devil’s Gyroscope.
Conceptualization: A machine designed to create and invoke deflux, demons, egregores, psychodomes and various other old and forgotten ones from the Qlippoth.
Heavy mass exerts an undeniable psychic impression on the viewer. The bioelectrical field surrounding the human and animal body can feel the press and wave of essence radiating form.
The ground base will display a radial 18 armed black sun pattern.
There is not the slightest doubt that a device of this nature can be used as a psychic weapon.
Completion is estimated to be at 2009’s end and testing in the next year. Display and implementation is at the end of the Mayan calendar date.
The greatness of evil is in its awesome accuracy. For unlike its component and brother, goodness, evil can withstand no miscalculation. No moral imperative. Evil must be perfect or dependent upon the imperfection of others. “
There is strong eventuality that Magister Church will be bringing in physical material from his bunker for next year’s event such as the ring configuration and the columns. These are just the Magister's portion of the event. I'll post my own personal happenings in the next post.
“Lovecraft was between being enamored with his surroundings and HPL (High Priest Lovecraft). He was an unwilling seer who existed in a manner that was similar to the Tibetan monks. All he did was immerse himself in his work and as a result of that he became open to external forces. If this is true then he knew about things that were going to happen and they found their way artistically/aesthetically through his stories.” http://www.ideocast.com/archive.asp?aid=10655

HPL was a prophet of profound occult insight, of this there can be no doubt. There is a very palpable sense of mediumship to his tales which isn't that surprising considering that all his tales, to some extent or another, had their origins in dreams.
HPL kept a notebook by his bedside so that he might immediately upon wakening be able to record the contents of the previous night's dreams. The origin for the story "The Hound" HPL told us came from the placing of a small fragment of ancient headstone he surrepticiously chipped off from questionable grave under his pillow one night. "The Horror at Red Hook" found it's origin to in a dream as did so many of his great tales.
Of course this begets the question just what in the hell was influencing HPL's dreams. To say that there was some mundane, terrestrial origin to them, as many practical types will, in no doubt, be wont to tell you, just doesn't jive with me. This isn't to say that I actually believe that a literal Chtulhu was lurking at the gates of dreams for a post somatic Lovecraft, no. I just feel that HPL was far more advanced in the art of penetrating the depths of his unconscious mind than the majority of us will ever hope to be. Of course just what in fact MAY be lurking for humanity in those depths no one may dare say.

From the smoldering embers of All Hallow’s sweetness I can at last finish this convergence telling: The ending was a bit abrupt so I was glad to touch base with every one later. Here are some of the more peripheral happenings that all webbed together in this veilectronistic weekend of the Templar anniversary, Friday the 13th, a report on Saturn (The Black Sun) having north and south pole hyperspatial anomalous gateway oddities and all that was mentioned above, but below are the more personal loungy significances:
Midnight Mass of Black Sun, Stars & Snakes
'Subtitle of the subject line is from this black electroatmosphere musician, Hecate. My thanks to the Zhark Drakkonyss for sharing the Darkness after Dawn. Most of the UR-Imagery was crystallized by yours truly.
Aztec skull exhumed from the cellar to the attic on the evening of the 13th
'Wondered why I've always gravitated towards Hydras and Medusa. Her Mendes Goat rendition is startling as well.
The red room attic had this SolNoir on the wall.
Mirrored Fyromanteious revisitation
She's definitely attuned to something as I felt a presence thicken the icy aire that drearming morning.

Yeah, I mean what other author does Dr. LaVey devote a whole chapter to ever? With my old out-of-print CoS mags, I've been exhuming old essays, articles, rituals based on the ECI of the immortal writings of HPL. The official CoS site has some great ones too, even one devoted to the Solstice next month! Of all mental technologists, I'm always intrigued to hear how Alien Elitists have applied the grand majesty of HPL's wyrks.

Yeah, he was quite shamanistic in his presentation and harvesting of vast landscapes of thought as anyone well versed in lucid dreaming, altered states of consciousness, can attest to. Thank you for the elucidation and I am eager to read a future essay of yours about the man!
“Satanism is made up of Hermetic, Alchemical, Cabalistc, Masonic and other esoteric principles we kind of took a Bruce Lee approach to the Black Arts, taking what we felt was useful and getting rid of the dross.
Magic is all about naming and commanding, taking control of one’s environment both physical and psychic and making things happen.
Becoming a conduit for demonic forces, a lightning rod through specific actions, certain words by involving in the total environmental conception, you become a channel for forces that are difficult to describe within contemporary vernacular.
As we’re coming into 2012 getting ready for a new paradigm, the human mind is beginning to shift in a very real, very magical way and we’re going to be able to see more of this type of activity (remote viewing, psychic war) manifest in the world.
When I deal with occult force that is outside the body, that belongs to an order which is different than that which is measurable by wave or particle as in the case of physics then we’re dealing with something that belongs to a different order of being as H.P. Lovecraft describes in some of his stories.
HPL was so alienated from contemporary society he’d often remark that he’d been born out of time, much too late who lived so strongly within his subjective universe that he became a lightning rod, an attractor for these forces.
The Ragnarok Engine is a living organism because it involves bioplasmic technology in its construction, seen as a biomechanical and alive in a primitive level than just a mere machine of opening doorways but it can be used just for that capacity.
Lesser Magic is not to be confused by High Magic which takes place in the ritual chamber which is of a different order in which you suspend time/space to create an effect and it’s a lot more difficult to measure that type of effect.
We are both a race and an ethnicity unto ourselves.
You fall within a specific stream of power. Your destiny isn’t necessarily set. You do have the ability to make independent decisions but you seem to have most power when you’re flowing with that stream instead of fighting it."
It is most refreshing to hear a Magister, let alone a C/S member, speak on the edges of awareness, higher level Satanic Magic that very few ever touch upon or even continually experience.
