Can posts to the introductions thread be screened before they are posted? Then, when a crappy post comes through, the poster can be informed that their first post to LttD did not pass the screening and it needs to be edited.

What kills me about the introduction forum is that it seems that some people feel the need to not just introduce themselves but explain all thier problems as welll. "Hi I'm John Doe and I'm a recovering alcoholic/crack addict/ex-convict with schizophrenia/dyslexia/foetal alcohol syndrome/ and I'm also unemployed and overweight with chronic acne... oh yeah and I'm a Satanist." Its not really my place to say, but I figure its best left as is for that reason. It weeds out the dross.

It works only as an unsecure filter.
