I was just wondering, whats the purpose behind them?? I got a little confused when reading them in the bible. I have a couple other questions but right now I cannot remember them.

The purpose of them, as such, is to provide a source of evocation during ritual. The Keys are invoked because they sound powerful, and because they are productive towards a ritual atmosphere/goals.

As for "why them"...you've surely read the translations.

so during a ritual you would pick the right one and say it to make the ritual more powerful..........and yes I have read the translations

Using the enochian keys is the same as wearing a robe or lighting the room by candle or weilding a sword. They are props to stimulate your mind and mood.

Only if they [The Keys] are stimulating to YOU. These are just tools an individual can use to help reach an emotionally charged state, they are not required in ritual.

In context of "typical" Satanic ritual, this is correct. You can of course also use multiple keys if you feel it is appropriate. Each of the three basic rituals offers suggestions of the most appropriate keys to chant.
