I am currently in rehabilitation for a substance abuse problem. The program is fine, except it endorses the 12 steps of AA/NA. I try to keep an open mind, but there are elements of the 12 steps that conflict with my personal belief system. I was wondering what, if any stance The Church of Satan has taken on 12 step programs.

I am unaware as to whether or not the Church has a policy on this issue but I can speak from my own knowledge.

This can work.

It is not based upon belief systems.

AA and NA are based on belief systems.

Drugs are for slaves.

Master yourself.
