Thanks Phosis, you very much put it into perspective. It's a casual job, retail at a mall, and the store manager's a Satanist herself (I got lucky!!), so having a Baphomet on my purse isn't innappropriate, but I should have known better, if there is a thief. A coworker swears her camera was stolen from there, and it hasn't turned up yet. So I guess I knew better. I was so excited about it, I couldn't help wearing it brazenly. Maybe it's a lesson that I shouldn't be quite so open about things. The other girl that was working that night is not as familiar to me, as she works at another location normally. Maybe SHE took it off because she was offended by it. That'd be extreme, though. I normally don't encounter that many people that are openly offended by my beliefs.
