Do names in light blue (lighter than typical nonmember blue) mean that the user is deceased?

It is a member in good standing who never went through the re-registration procedure from the last BIG overhaul of LttD from YEARS ago.

They were here as regular members, but never re-logged in after all users had to comply with certain procedures Magister Ventrue needed everyone to do.

Or something like that.

If this is what's being referred to I should point out that the original color for CoS members was pink. This is without looking one up (possibly you're using a different color scheme than me, since regular users do not appear blue to me); but years ago members were a minority here and were derisively called "pinkies" by the rabble, if you can believe that.

Last I looked only one or two users actually never updated their account and still have the old pink color, or whatever it's rendered to now; there could be a couple other now-obsolete color schemes but I don't remember them off hand.

Ah, I may stand corrected then, thanks!

Example of a user whose name is rendered in the now obsolete CoS member pink.

Any examples of blue-rendered names?

Warlock Krowklaws (Hence my guess they were deceased) and Magister Koerbagh are both in light blue, as is one other Warlock who I can't seem to find again. Could it have been the old active member/hierarchy color?

I'm also curious as to why some people have the "CoS Member" tag in italics instead of plain text and why others such as JoeNetherworld have no title at all, if there is any reason beyond forum technical oddities.

I honestly do not know. Both do indeed appear blue to me. Warlock Krowklaws unfortunately died some time ago, as you stated correctly; I recall Magister Koerbagh posting a few times but never knew him personally and cannot speak to his present disposition, whether he parted ways, died, or what. I cannot do a member search by name color...though I can search by nearly any other criteria, so I cannot guess who the other person you reference is.

As for titles, that's a known forum bug. Some were probably italicized by mistake, others were probably "victim" of a title bug we had some time ago.

I seem to remember members being blue for a while after the pink perhaps to go better with the color scheme at the time. Possibly right before the green Baphomet period? confused

When I first became a member a few years back members names were a light blue. This was, as HellofallHells stated, during the green baphomet period.

I can also corroborate this, as I became a member during this period as well.

"Ah, the levels of my madness, how colored they are" smile

I am really surprised you all remember all this, hell I created it and can't remember half of what I was doing back then!

A new phase in the development of LttD will be coming soon also. Someone should build a timeline wink
