When I try viewing this thread in threaded mode, no posts are displayed. Views fine in flat mode. Several other threads are like this as well.

"The devil I'll bring you," answered Hagen. "I have enough to carry with my shield and breastplate; my helm is bright, the sword is in my hand, therefore I bring you naught."

It is in threaded mode, though.

I mean, it looks fine in threaded mode to me.

Interesting, it works as a hotlink.

Try going to the thread list, finding it there, and then viewing. That produces the error.

Nope, still looks fine.

I tried switching to threaded mode in Topic options, then I just as well switched my settings to threaded mode, and it was viewable to me both times.

Maybe someone has fixed it. Or maybe your profile just needs a vacation? ;p

On the other hand, my settings seem to forget about themselves and show me threads ( well, this thread ) in flat mode if I either go straight to it without going through the particular forum first, or use my back button from the New Reply page to check if I'm really answering what I think I am. Go figure.

Clicking the link from this listing does not produce an error?

No, it did not produce an error when I went there and clicked that thread this morning, and neither did it produce one when I went through the link you gave to the list and then clicked that same thread again just now.

The weird thing is, the second time I clicked that link - yes, that link you just gave to the music forum - the thread wasn't there. So, I assumed someone had removed it - you, for example - but then I clicked the original link you provided to the thread, and there it was. It also showed up in a search for 'judas priest', in threaded mode, like it was supposed to.

This thread remains flat, for some reason. But I guess that's just because I go straight here from the forum list.

Maybe you should get a third opinion on this.

Nah, wait, it's back again... ;p

Hope that means it's fixed.

I have started to notice that there are some weird things going on with threaded mode ... I am looking into them...

Thanks for the tip about it viewing fine in flat mode. I noticed several old posts downstairs like that and I was initially thinking they got edited for some reason.

Glad to know I can still read them! smile

I seem to be having the same problem in random threads. This one shows up fine in threaded. However there are other threads that do not display any posts, only the descending thread reply titles underneath where the post should be. Has anyone discovered a remedy for this? As Hagen von Tronje has said, it does display the posts in flat mode, but it's not as easy to tell who is replying to who when viewing that way.
