Personally, I've never listened to anything by Mercyful Fate.
Have you read the Satanic Bible though?

Drake: Yep, I've done plenty of the more readily available essential reading (TSB, TSR, Secret Life of a Satanist, etc). I was simply highlighting that Mercyful fate (and Venom, Bathory, and other early dark metal) was what initially drew me to Satanism.
HellOfAllHells: That track sounds good! Love that old-school sound! Have you checked out Portrait or In Solitude ? Both incredible European bands with feet planted firmly in the Satanic metal of yesteryear.
And while we're on the topic of shameless plugs, check out my band Crusades (more a dark, melodic punk rock band with metal leanings & vehemently antichristian lyrics than a straight up metal band).

Liz here . I am 49 female. I have read the satanic bible a while back ago. Read Satan Speaks. It has been a while. I have been interested in the COS for a while and still learning more. Read the posts that was placed on Internet before coming on here. A lot of it I already do . Need to learn and apply more to my life .I do have questions that I will be asking. I am glade you are here.
