Greetings everyone, My first name is Talia pronounced Tallyuh) but I prefer to go by my nickname Ali. I am new to the boards and newish to Satanism. I am honest enough to admit that I am a fledgling. I have only recently come to Satanism, after studying many different religions. Wicca in particular extensively over many years. While I studied it and dabbled occasionally, I never felt entirely comfortable in its embrace. My husband of close to ten years has been a Satanist for many years, born to it I would say. I would over the years ask an occasional question, but never looked too deeply into it. He never really spoke at length about it either, preferring to allow me the room to make my own decision and find the religion I was most at home in.
I have to say, after beginning my earnest study into Satanism a month or two ago, I am annoyed with him for not sharing its principles with me sooner. I was beginning to think there was no religion that shared my own views and feeling on life and the world. I was quite frustrated by this bleak possibility and so relieved that this isn't the case. I can forgive him though, as I share his views that a person should come to the path they want to walk in their own time. I was raised in a Christian household, but from a young age I remember questioning everything. It wasn't until I was old enough to really understand that I began to break away.
Anyway, I sincerely hope to find like minded people here, and perhaps learn a thing or two on my path to enlightenment.
