Recently I was asked to write a column for a Facebook page for Satanists and I accepted and submitted an article. Now I am not yet a member of the Church of Satan, but soon hope to be as soon I as I have $200 to spare. Now will my writing a column for this page negatively effect my joining the COS? I know only people that have earned the right to speak for the COS can, but I'm wondering about preinvolvement repercussions for lack of a better term. I thank you in advance for addressing this issue.

It sounds as though you were doing more than expressing something personal.

If you want authorization to represent the Church of Satan you will need to first contact the COS directly by email to obtain such authorization.

The columns I would write to all be personal issues and told from strictly my personal point of view
