Hello every one, I'm new here, the reason behind I decide to be a member to this forum that I'm not happy in my life, I read in Islam and Christianity and I've some experience in religion but I still feel no happy in my life.

Today I decide to learn about Satanism, new thing to me, may be I'll find happiness here, I hope that because I tried many many things and there's no result.

My English isn't perfect and I didn't find good sources about Satanism in my language, Satanism is forbidden in my country and in my language, so how can I start and understand Satanism ?, how can feel good spiritual feelings in my heart with the satanic faith ?

Your best bet is to start with the FAQ.

As an aside, Satanism is a system of doubt, rather than faith.

"Faith" is taking something at face value without question. DOUBT is about testing everything to see what works for you as an individual.

You are also unlikely to experience spiritual feelings through Satanism. Satanism is an atheistic religion and views Satan as a symbol of man's carnal urges, rather than a literal entity.

Shortcut:

Pay attention as often as you can - starting right now - to things you like that you can notice around you.

Make this a habit.

Happiness is a habit.

UN-happiness is ALSO a habit.

Therefore STOP paying UNNECESSARY attention to things you do NOT like!

This is not a matter of "being realistic".

That's just an excuse for not forming a new habit.

It is a matter of being willing to FEEL happiness in small bursts and establishing that as your NEW habit.

And smile.

It won't break your face and it will shift your mood chemistry.

Most Satanists I know smile a lot!

Maybe we know something.

Maybe now you know that something too! wink

smile

So, I can understand that satanism is like a kind of philosophy, it's basically a mental work.

Are you asking a question or making a statement?

I just do not understand what you wrote.

Try again?

Is it? Surely it's a value judgement based upon preconceived notions of what the behavioural or reflective answers should be? In which case, the best response would be to dismiss the asking of the question in the first place as a question not working asking (that is, if it's causing grief).

On the use of one's head.

If it is making you miserable (unhappy) then make a new habit of using it differently.

A useful suggestion. wink

I've a previous experience with religion and faith, faith was like a kind of energy that come into hearts and make 'em feel good through the worshiping.

If there's no benefit can come from satanism, so why we have to believe in it ?

My words about happiness are for kind of benefit that I can gain from satanism, it's not a worthless thing to search for happiness.

Not all people have the same mind, don't expect others to think the same logic you do.

Sorry Dark136, but I am still "in the dark" about what you are asking.

Try again?

It really is simple.

No joke.

You already know when you feel unhappy or happy.

Make it a habit to look for things that cause you to feel unhappy (ESPECIALLY things outside of your personal control!!!) and you will make unhappiness your habit.

Do the opposite and get the opposite result.

This is not rocket science, kids!

grin

Is satanism in fact just a kind of atheism ?
Is there any spirituality or magic in satanism ?
Are all satanic ceremonials that I heard from others just symbols only and nothing real behind 'em ?

Yes, Satanism is, indeed, atheistic. Disciples who claim to believe in a literal Satan are devil worshipers - not Satanists.

That being said, the absence of belief in a deity does not necessarily imply the absence of belief in all things "paranormal". There do exist Satanists who only believe in the psychological, self-transformative effects of ritual. Then there are those who believe that their rituals have some type of psi-related effect on their environment. Satanists are expected to decide for themselves based on their own standards of proof.

I hope my answer has helped.

In short, there is no spirituality in Satanism, but yes, there is Magic in Satanism. If you ever have the opportunity to read Infernalia by Magister Rose I recommend doing so. In that book there is a powerful essay I like, "Entering The Abyss: The Psychology Of Magic".

Within that article Magister Rose offers his own explication of magic in terms of archetypes, the collective unconscious, and Carl Jung's concept of the synchronicity. Now, by no means am I asserting that you should embrace Rose's account of magic nor am I implying that all Satanists agree with this elaboration on magic. However, in my opinion, I think the essay is very thought provoking and close to the mark.

"The difference between the man or woman who's a practicing Satanist, from an identity Satanist is that the practicing Satanist looks at the picture, while the identity Satanist studies the frame."

I see two excellent replies to your questions.

If you want even more just go here for the details in brief:

http://www.churchofsatan.com/frequently-asked-questions.php

Ten minutes of reading there will satisfy your questions ...if they don't just generate more of course! grin

Then you might consider listening to one of my interviews.
