So I reviewed some of the names of the Demons Satanists may use. Excuse me, but I can't quote which one of Dr. Lavey's books I read that in as I've been reading a whole lot as well as looking at other material. My question is on Belphegor. Has anyone used him before?

I have never used Belphegor in my list of Infernal Names but I see no reason anyone couldn't as long as there's a connection between his attributes and what the magician is trying to accomplish.

Do you have any reading suggestions on the list of infernals?

I assume you've read the brief descriptions in The Satanic Bible. I also sometimes use characters from those listed in The Goetia. Any of Lovecraft's stories written as part of "The Cthulhu Mythos" might be a good source as well, if you don't necessarily want to stick with historical deities and devils. Of course you can find much info on just about any deities/devils/characters you can imagine by searching under specific names, religions or cultures online.

I'm kinda still new to this so any information is more than welcome. Can I PM you?

Well, other than what LowKey already says - I have once done a ritual and added in a demon name from a video game lore. Without going into specifics, it had a connection to what I was doing the ritual for.

Demons, like Satan himself, are conceptual beings that we created and gave names to. If you are able to truly suspend your disbelief in the ritual chamber (referring to it as intellectual decompression chamber being a hint to its purpose in The Satanic Bible), then it doesn't matter whether the demons and their names were created by monks copying parchment rolls, or by more modern creativity.

Magic works because you make it work for you, not the other way around.
