I find it interesting that both Nietzsche and LaVey have similar views on this subject. Both implore us to use knowledge of our internal human nature to achieve success. For Nietzsche, one could take the energy of their "will," or internal desire to survive, and direct it towards achieving a major life goal. LaVey had similar thinking in that we should embrace and understand our human nature to succeed. For example, we can direct our natural impulses toward performing magic rituals in order to achieve a better state of mind and become stronger as individuals.
