Everytime I come onto this site none of the new posts show up. I have to refresh my cookies everytime and I was wondering if there is something else I could do.

Have you tried

Start >> Control panel >>> Internet options >>> Settings.

And where it says "check for new version of stored pages"
checking "automatic"

Just did and it was checked already. I am not the best with computers, so I would have no idea of anything else I could do. Open to any suggestions

I would suggest clicking on 'Internet Options' and deleting all cookies and temporary Internet files.

That has ironed out any problems I have had in the past.

HS!

I tried this with no results. I wonder if Magister Ventrue could fix this or is it my computer. It was fine before the upgrade.

If it is a problem with the upgrade and not the settings on individual computers, it is strange that not everyone has this problem.

I would assume that it is a problem with how these individual computers have taken the upgrade, and not something Magister Ventrue controls.

Of course, I may be wrong.

Im still having this problem also. It is quite annoying highlighting the posts to see who posted last. Is anyone else on the board having this trouble?

I made a change on the server (not sure it will fix it) delete "expire" your cookie and try again.

I've set my browser (Firebird 0.7) to clear cookies with every session. Now, when I look at any posts or click "Mark all as read", it may not immediately show as read; but if I log off, and then return with a new session, all the posts are correctly marked.

How did it work on the old system? Were cookies more efficiently updated, or what? (Not that I have a sweet clue how any of this works.)

In this new edition the cookies are more "complex" and I think that is throwing things off. I am looking into the problem as I am having other cookie related issues myself that others are not having. Hopefully I will find the answer!
